Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Solution Sales Manager for Distribution Automation to drive global sales growth by promoting advanced automation solutions for electrical distribution networks. You will lead go-to-market strategy, manage regional pipelines, and collaborate with the Europe CoE to tailor offerings that meet customer needs and align with objectives.

The role requires a strong technical background in DA, 5–7 years in technical B2B sales with leadership, and fluency in English;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
• 5–7 years in technical B2B sales with 5+ years in a leadership role driving global or multi-region sales.
• Strong understanding of Distribution Automation technologies (e.g. feeder automation, SCADA/DMS, protection relays, RTUs, comms networks).
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global go-to-market strategy for Distribution Automation solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across regions; build a global sales pipeline.
• Own global DA solution sales targets and consolidate forecasts for leadership.
• Build and maintain relationships with critical customers and strategic partners.
• Coordinate with CoE, Marketing, Product Management/R&D, and Delivery to tailor offerings and ensure successful orders.
