Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking an experienced Sales Accountant to manage high-volume customer billing and AR invoicing in SAP/Ariba. You will ensure accurate hydrocarbon invoices and service bills, collaborate with Sales and Finance teams, and support audits and internal controls.

Role requires at least 6 years in accounting within a similar environment, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience in a similar environment.
• Proficient in SAP and Ariba system workflows.
• Attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate sales invoices in SAP for hydrocarbon products and services.
• Ensure timely invoicing for all products and submit to sales managers.
• Collaborate with Controller and Sales Accounting to close AR in month-end cycles.
• Generate monthly invoices for two cycle days (15th and 31st) for commercial customers and monthly for government customers.
• Assist audits and provide required billing reports and documentation.
• Monitor and reconcile discrepancies in sales data to maintain data integrity.
• Maintain documentation of internal controls over AR invoicing.
• Coordinate with IT and finance to resolve data integration issues.
• Prepare invoices performance tracking reports and KPIs.
