Job summary

RISE & SHINE INSULATION FIRE PROTECTION LLC in the UAE seeks a results-driven Sales Engineer specializing in Passive Fire Protection (PFP) systems. You will drive business growth by building relationships with main contractors, MEP contractors, and consultants across the Gulf region, securing supply-and-install packages for major commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant engineering field.
• 3–8 years of proven sales engineering experience in Passive Fire Protection within GCC.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, UL listings, BS standards, and Civil Defense approvals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and map GCC construction, infrastructure, and oil & gas projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with MEP contractors, EPCs, consultants, and facility managers.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to position PFP solutions as the preferred choice.
• Review BOQs, carry out material take-offs and cost estimations to support proposals.
• Prepare and deliver detailed commercial quotations and technical submittals per client specs and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Civil Defense authorities to ensure material listings meet local and international codes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and installation of PFP packages.

Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Sales Engineer specialized in Passive Fire Protection PFP Systems In this role you will be responsible for driving business growth building relationships with main contractors MEP contractors and consultants and securing supply-and-install packages for high-profile commercial industrial and infrastructure projects across the Gulf region 1 2 3 4

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and map upcoming construction infrastructure and oil gas projects in the GCC region
• Secure new sales leads and achieve monthly and annual sales targets 1 2 3

Client Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with MEP contractors EPCs project consultants architects and facility management companies 1 2

Technical Consultation

• Conduct technical presentations product demonstrations and specification selling to position our PFP products as the preferred choice for projects 1 2 3

Estimation Estimation Support

• Review structural blueprints architectural drawings and Bills of Quantities BOQs to carry out material take-offs and cost estimations 1 2

Proposals Submittals

• Prepare and deliver detailed commercial quotations and technical submittals ensuring compliance with client specs and international safety regulations 1 2

Regulatory Compliance Approvals

• Coordinate closely with local civil defense authorities e g ADCD DCD KSA Civil Defense to ensure all specified materials carry relevant local and international code listings NFPA UL BS 1 2

Project Liaison

• Work with the internal design estimation and site project operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and installation of passive fire protection packages 1 2

Required Skills & Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Fire Protection Engineering. Experience: Minimum 3 to 8 years of proven sales engineering experience within the Passive Fire Protection / Fireproofing industry in the GCC region. Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in passive fire systems, including intumescent coatings for steel, fire-rated boards, fire stopping, fire barriers, and expansion joints. Standards & Codes: Strong understanding of NFPA codes, SASO/UL listings, British Standards (BS), and local Civil Defense approval processes. Driving License: A valid GCC / Country-specific driving license is mandatory. Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Excel.
