Job summary

Anantara Downtown Dubai is seeking a proactive hotel sales professional to drive revenue and cultivate client relationships. You will collaborate with Front Office, Reservations, and Events to ensure seamless service delivery.

The role emphasizes upselling Minor Hotels products, maintaining client databases, and achieving personal financial objectives with support from department leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assess current account base and direct personal efforts accordingly.
• Develop new client contacts and maintain revenue opportunity data.
• Achieve personal financial and non-financial objectives with department leadership.
• Develop professional skills including negotiation and face-to-face selling.
• Maintain management reports on results and actions.
• Practice cost control and follow expenditure procedures.
• Participate in client familiarization trips and roadshows to support targets.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations and Events for seamless service.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of sales tools and MS Office.
• Ensure departmental paperwork is processed accurately.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining client databases for promotions.
• Provide proactive, professional, friendly assistance to guests and clients.

Within This, The Key Responsibilities For This Position Include

• Understand the relative importance and priority of the current account base and direct personal efforts accordingly.
• Support the development of new client contacts and maintain accurate information on potential revenue opportunities.
• Achieve assigned personal financial and non-financial objectives in collaboration with department leadership.
• Take responsibility for own professional development, including financial literacy, negotiation, and face-to-face selling skills.
• Maintain accurate management reports on business results and team member action plans.
• Practice effective cost control and follow internal procedures for expenditure approval.
• Actively participate in client familiarization trips, site inspections, sales trips, and roadshows as required to support the hotel’s sales targets.
• Liaise effectively with operational colleagues, particularly Front Office, Reservations, and Events, to ensure accurate and seamless delivery of services.
• Identify and support opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Minor Hotels products and services.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of sales support tools, property PMS, sales software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ensure all departmental paperwork, including letters, emails, contracts and reports, be processed all the time … etc… … …??….....?
