Job Description Safety Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to monitor daily site safety activities and ensure compliance with company HSE policies, project requirements, and UAE safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in construction site safety supervision and worker safety management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure workers comply with PPE requirements and safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers.
• Monitor work areas, equipment, and tools for safety compliance.
• Ensure safe execution of activities including lifting, excavation, scaffolding, and working at height.
• Report unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist HSE Officers in implementing safety procedures and site safety plans.
• Monitor compliance with risk assessments and method statements.
• Maintain safety inspection records and daily safety reports.
• Support incident reporting and investigation activities.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers to improve workplace safety.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at site.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor in construction projects.

• Ability to conduct safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• UAE construction experience is an advantage.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 12 years of experience in construction project management. Strong experience with high‑rise buildings, residential and villa projects. Proven experience working with main contracting companies in Dubai/UAE. Strong knowledge of construction processes, project controls and UAE regulations. Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple project teams and deliver projects successfully.
