Job summary

Meraki Group in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Safety Officer to protect the health and safety of our on-site workforce. The role focuses on implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety across construction sites.

The ideal candidate has an OHS diploma or degree, 3+ years in a safety role within construction, strong knowledge of regulations, and proven training and leadership abilities. Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a safety role within construction.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct training sessions and safety briefings effectively.
• Certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is desirable.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Meraki Group is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Worden - Fadace to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and health of all our employees on-site. The Safety Worden will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures
• Provide training and guidance to employees on best safety practices and emergency response procedures
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports on safety performance and incidents
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper usage on site
• Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and implement necessary safety improvements
• Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging employees and encouraging safety participation.
