Job summary

Casa Tera in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) seeks a vigilant HSE professional to monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with the approved HSE management system.

You will conduct inspections, manage risk assessments, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to maintain safety, PPE use, and environmental controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with the approved Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) management system.
• Conduct routine site inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions ensuring that corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Ensure all personnel comply with project safety rules procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct safety inductions toolbox talks and awareness training for employees subcontractors and visitors.
• Review and monitor risk assessments (RA) method statements (MS) and permit-to-work (PTW) systems before work commences.
• Inspect scaffolding excavations lifting operations work at height confined spaces electrical installations and other high-risk activities.
• Monitor lifting operations to ensure compliance with approved lifting plans and statutory safety requirements.
• Investigate accidents incidents near misses and unsafe occurrences and prepare detailed investigation reports with recommendations.
• Maintain HSE records including inspection reports incident reports training records and safety statistics.
• Ensure fire prevention measures emergency equipment first aid facilities and emergency response procedures are maintained and readily available.
• Coordinate with site engineers supervisors subcontractors and the client to promote a safe working environment.
• Verify that safety signage barricades warning notices and access controls are properly installed and maintained.
• Monitor environmental compliance including waste management dust control noise control and housekeeping.
• Conduct regular safety audits and follow up on the closure of corrective and preventive actions.
• Report safety performance observations and key HSE indicators to the HSE Manager or Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations project specifications and applicable occupational health and safety standards.
