Job summary

STEEL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING COMPANY LLC is seeking an experienced HSE professional to oversee safety on UAE construction sites. You will ensure compliance with HSE procedures, conduct risk assessments, and manage PTW processes to protect personnel and assets.

Responsibilities include coordinating inductions, conducting toolbox talks, preparing regular HSE reports, and maintaining comprehensive HSE documentation across projects. Fluency in English and NEBOSH certification are required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certificate is a minimum requirement for this role.
• 3–10 years UAE construction experience, preferably in infrastructure, industrial plants, or substations.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Maintain project HSE documentation (HSE Plan, ERP, Waste Mgmt Plan, EMP, etc.).

• Monitor and supervise site personnel to ensure safe work practices are maintained at all times
• Prepare and review risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented
• Issue and monitor daily Permit to Work PTW for site activities
• Prepare daily weekly and monthly HSE reports
• Conduct HSE inductions toolbox talks and internal training sessions for site personnel
• Perform regular inspections of the worksite equipment tools and machinery to ensure compliance with HSE standards
• Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to ensure all required third-party inspections certifications and mandatory training are completed on time
• Prepare and maintain project HSE documentation including HSE PlanEmergency Response Plan ERP Waste Management PlanEnvironmental Management Plan EMP Other project-specific HSE documents as required

Qualifications
