Job summary

Primeeleuae seeks a Safety Officer to oversee on-site safety at Dubai construction projects. You will ensure compliance with HSE plans, monitor PPE, permits, and daily site inspections, and coordinate with the team to maintain safe operations.

You will prepare daily/weekly safety reports, support audits, and assist with safety campaigns for heat/cold stress and adverse weather. NEBOSH or IOSH certificates and GCC experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• GCC: 2 years experience required
• NEBOSH & IOSH certificates preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure and monitor safety requirements at construction sites as per approved HSE plan
• Maintain safety observation and incident reporting system
• Ensure work permit system and safe work plan before starting the work
• Daily inspection for construction activities and heavy equipment
• Assist safety supervisors during safety campaigns for heat/cold stress and adverse weather
• Participate in safety audits and walk-throughs
• Prepare all Daily, Weekly, Monthly safety reports
• Maintain all safety documentation records
• Update activities to group chats daily
• Assist on-site tasks to ensure quality and efficiency

Job description

Make sure all workers at site have done safety induction and required training.
Ensure and monitor the safety requirements are met at construction sites as per approved HSE plan.
Coordinate with construction team to maintain safe work environment and ensuring resources are available.
Maintain safety observation and incident reporting system and communicating with safety management.
Ensuring the work permit system and safe work plan before starting the work.
Daily inspection for construction activities and heavy equipment. 7 Monitoring of site preparations, barricading and PPE.
Supporting and monitoring inspection for tools and equipment, heavy equipment, cranes.
To assist safety supervisors during the Safety campaign for heat stress/cold stress and adverse weather conditions
Participate for Safety audit and walk through.
Site traffic control measures monitoring inside fenced area..
Scaffold safety requirements and ensuring certified and competent scaffold team for the erection, modification and dismantling.
Prepare all the Daily, Weekly, Monthly reports.
Maintain all Safety documentation record.
Require all NEBOSH & IOSH qualifications and certificates.
Assistance with on-site tasks to ensure both quality and efficiency.
Update the activities on whatsapp group on daily basis.
Assume accountability when the site supervisor is not present.
