Job summary

Rosewood Abu Dhabi is seeking an Outlet Cashier to accurately manage guest billing and payments across all F&B outlets and bars, safeguarding assets and ensuring compliance with hotel procedures.

You will work with Finance, Front Office, and F&B teams to deliver precise reporting, resolve discrepancies, and uphold guest service excellence while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cashiering, billing, or financial transactions within hospitality or a customer-facing environment.
• Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process guest bills, payments, and transactions accurately and efficiently through the POS system.
• Safeguard cash floats, payment devices, and other financial instruments in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Verify and process credit card transactions, room charges, discounts, promotions, and vouchers with proper authorization.
• Reconcile cash, card, and room charge transactions and prepare end-of-shift reports.
• Support internal controls and house fund audits to ensure compliance with financial policies.

THE TEAM

The Finance team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi works closely with operational departments to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of the hotel’s financial transactions. Supporting our Food & Beverage outlets, the team plays an essential role in maintaining strong financial controls while enabling seamless guest experiences.

As an Outlet Cashier, you will report to the Assistant Director of Finance and collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage and Front Office teams to ensure accurate billing, payment processing, and financial compliance.

YOUR ROLE

As an Outlet Cashier, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of guest billing and payment transactions across Food & Beverage outlets and bars.

You will safeguard hotel assets, maintain compliance with financial procedures, and ensure every transaction is processed with accuracy and professionalism. Through your attention to detail and commitment to service, you will help support both operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Process guest bills, payments, and transactions accurately and efficiently through the POS system
• Safeguard cash floats, payment devices, and other financial instruments in accordance with hotel procedures

• You have experience handling cashiering, billing, or financial transactions within hospitality or a customer-facing environment
• You demonstrate exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability
• You are comfortable working with POS systems, payment terminals, and financial reporting tools
• You have strong numerical skills and can reconcile transactions confidently and efficiently
• You maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information
• You communicate fluently in English; additional language skills are an advantage
