Legend Holding Group is seeking a senior Group R2R leader responsible for end-to-end Record-to-Report across the organization. You will ensure accurate general ledger, disciplined period-end close, reliable management reporting, and intercompany reconciliation across multiple units and ERP platforms.
You will drive IFRS-compliant consolidation, strengthen fixed asset, inventory and costing controls, and establish a unified close framework while mentoring the shared-services R2R team.
Lead and progressively centralize end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) activities for the Group, ensuring an accurate general ledger, disciplined period-end close, reliable management reporting, reconciled intercompany balances, IFRS-compliant consolidation, and strong control over fixed assets, inventories and business costing. The role establishes one consistent Group accounting and reporting framework across multiple business units, entities and existing ERP systems. Act as the primary technical and operational owner of Group close execution; partner with Business Unit Finance Managers (BU FMs) for source-data accountability and **escalate** material accounting, control and reporting matters to the Head of Accounting & Shared Services.
Own the Group R2R operating model and its seven workstreams: GL; closing/reporting; intercompany; consolidation; IFRS/technical accounting; fixed assets; and inventory/costing. Manage the assigned shared-services R2R team, allocate close tasks, perform independent reviews, coach staff and define backups for critical close and reporting activities. Issue common policies, chart-of-accounts mapping, templates, reconciliations, close checklists and reporting standards across business units despite differing ERP platforms. Provide functional direction and deadline tracking to BU finance teams; BU FMs retain ownership of local books, underlying evidence and transaction accuracy until responsibilities are formally transferred to the hub. Maintain disciplined maker-checker approvals, segregation of duties, audit trails, issue logs and a formal escalation/close-reopening process.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; ACCA, CPA, CA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification strongly preferred. Typically 7+ years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including at least 3 years in a senior GL, consolidation, R2R or financial-control leadership role. Demonstrable delivery of consolidated IFRS financial statements, multi-entity close governance and technical accounting judgments in complex groups. Practical experience in inventory/cost accounting and fixed assets; automotive trading, rent-a-car, distribution, workshops, logistics or other asset-intensive businesses advantageous. Experience working across mixed ERP landscapes (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, SAP or equivalent), advanced Excel and reporting/BI tools; exposure to ERP migration or shared-services implementation desirable.
