Job summary

Confidential Company in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced RTR leader to oversee end-to-end PTP and R2R cycles, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions and timely close. The role emphasizes GL stewardship, journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes while driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, solid IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and a track record in multinational environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting, with emphasis on RTR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end procure-to-pay (PTP) and order-to-record (R2R) cycles ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
• Manage GL function including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing with meticulous attention to detail.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the RTR function leveraging technology and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant financial regulations mitigating risks.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing complex accounting operations within a multinational or large-scale organization.
• Deep understanding of IFRS or US GAAP, with the ability to apply these principles accurately to financial reporting.
