Aldar Properties PJSC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting professional to support monthly, quarterly and annual group close, intercompany eliminations and consolidations across multiple entities. You will prepare journals, reconciliations and period-end adjustments while ensuring IFRS compliance and robust financial controls.

Support the timely and accurate financial close, consolidation and reporting of multiple entities and ledgers in accordance with IFRS and Group requirements
Assist in maintaining financial data and general ledger integrity, including reconciliations, financial statements and audit requirements
Support the use of AI-enabled and digital finance tools to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy and financial analysis
Support monthly, quarterly and annual Group consolidation and financial reporting
Assist with reporting submissions, account mapping, intercompany eliminations and Group-level adjustments
Prepare consolidation schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation
Coordinate with subsidiaries and finance teams for accurate, timely information
Support monthly, quarterly and annual close across assigned entities and ledgers
Prepare journals, accruals, provisions, reclassifications and period-end adjustments
Assist in reviewing trial balances and identifying accounting or reporting discrepancies
Support accurate account mapping and financial reporting classifications
Prepare and review general ledger, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
Follow up on outstanding reconciliation items and support timely resolution
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Support compliance with Group policies, internal controls and reporting procedures
Support internal and external audits with schedules, reconciliations, financial statements and documentation
Assist in responding to audit queries and coordinating required information
Support compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements and Group financial policies
Assist in preparing variance analysis, financial analysis and management reports
Support analysis of performance against budget, forecast and prior periods
Prepare supporting analysis and commentary on key financial movements
Assist with budget, forecast and cash-flow reporting requirements
Use approved AI-enabled, analytics and digital tools to support reconciliations, financial reporting and analysis
Assist in identifying opportunities to automate repetitive finance activities
Support improvements to reporting processes, controls and ERP workflows
Apply appropriate validation and review to AI-generated outputs and insights
Min of 6+ years of experience of financial accounting and management accounting experience
Experience of accounting within real estate or related industry is preferred
Experience in complex Group-wide accounting and reporting, preferably in a public company
Good knowledge of financial accounting, IFRS and financial reporting principles.
Good understanding of general ledger, reconciliations and consolidation processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel and financial reporting tools; Oracle experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of AI-enabled and digital finance tools for analysis, reporting and process efficiency
Good communication, stakeholder coordination and time-management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Professional accounting qualification e.g., CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCA is preferred
