Job summary

Al Zorah Beach Resort Ajman UAE is seeking a Room Service Assistant Server to deliver refined in-room dining experiences to guests in suites, ensuring accuracy, presentation and guest satisfaction. You will work with culinary and service teams to ensure timely delivery and uphold the highest luxury standards.

Fluency in English is required; Arabic or Russian is a plus. 1-2 years experience in 5-star properties is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in Room Service, F&B, or luxury hotel operations.
• Knowledge of F&B service standards and etiquette.
• Strong communication with warmth and professionalism.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or Russian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-room dining orders promptly with accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Set up trays and trolleys according to brand standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized touches.
• Ensure professional, discreet guest interactions.
• Clear and remove trays/trolleys from rooms and corridors.
• Support the team with mise-en-place, stock replenishment and area organization.
• Maintain cleanliness in the Room Service area and pantries.
• Handle guest complaints or requests with empathy and escalate to supervisor.
• Adhere to Forbes and LQA service standards in presentation and communication.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Our Ideal Candidate

As a Room Service Assistant Server, you will play a key role in delivering refined and memorable dining experiences to guests in the privacy of their rooms and suites. Your service will reflect precision, attentiveness, and warmth, ensuring every order is handled with care and executed flawlessly.

You will work closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure seamless coordination, timely delivery, and presentation that upholds the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver all In-Room Dining orders promptly, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Set up trays and trolleys elegantly in accordance with brand standards and guest preferences.
• Anticipate guest needs, offering thoughtful suggestions and personalized touches to enhance their experience.
• Ensure all guest interactions are professional, discreet, and service-oriented.
• Handle the clearing and removal of trays/trolleys from guest rooms and corridors promptly.
• Support the Order Taker and team with mise-en-place, stock replenishment, and room service area organization.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the Room Service area and pantries.
• Handle guest complaints or special requests with empathy, efficiency, and communication to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Adhere to Forbes and LQA service standards in presentation, service delivery, and guest communication.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Room Service, F&B, or Restaurant operations within a 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage warmly and professionally.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic or Russian are an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High personal presentation and grooming standards.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle multiple orders efficiently.
• Physically fit to carry trays, set up trolleys, and work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• A guest-focused mindset with genuine passion for creating exceptional experiences.
