Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Dubai Metro's rolling stock and maintenance vehicles. You will assist the team leader with maintenance activities, perform inspections, tests and minor repairs, and help manage safe work permits while ensuring compliance with schedules.

The role requires solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, experience with test equipment, and the ability to document work accurately.

Qualifications

• Vocational diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with rolling stock maintenance and wheel/bogie overhauls is a plus.
• Ability to operate electrical, electronic and mechanical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance team in preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling stock and vehicles.
• Carry out inspections, replace consumables, perform minor repairs and cleaning.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.
• Follow safety rules and permit to work procedures.
• Rotate to First Line Response when required.
