Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a Rolling Stock Engineer to optimize the performance of Dubai Metro assets. You will provide engineering support, investigate performance issues, and drive change across rolling stock and depot interfaces.

The role requires strong technical acumen, data analysis skills, and the ability to lead engineering investigations, manage lifecycle activities, and ensure compliance with asset management standards. This on-site position offers growth within a dynamic transport environment.

Qualifications

• RAMS concepts and lifecycle analysis experience.
• FRACAS and Failure Review Board familiarity.
• Knowledge of ISO 55000 asset management standards.
• Strong data analytics and asset performance reporting skills.
• Experience with rolling stock systems and interfaces (Power, ATC, etc.).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Executes asset improvement initiatives and supports engineering investigations into asset performance, reliability, and failure trends.
• Analyses asset performance data and develops insights aligned with FRACAS, Failure Review Boards, and change management processes.
• Supports compliance with ISO 55000 series asset management principles and internal engineering governance.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation, engineering procedures, and asset-related data models.
• Supports engineering change management, engineering reviews, and system performance assessments.
• Engages with Maintenance, Data team, and Operations to ensure engineering outputs meet operational needs.
