Hire Feed, on behalf of a global technology leader, seeks a Member of Technical Staff, Robotics Research to advance autonomous navigation for industrial robots. You will drive algorithmic improvements in perception, planning, and real-time decision-making.

Candidates should have a PhD or Master’s in a related field, 5+ years of robotics research, and strong C++/Python skills. Expertise in ROS/ROS2 and simulation tools like Gazebo is essential, with a track record in SLAM or sensor fusion.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on robotics research with a focus on autonomy or manipulation.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for algorithm development and system integration.
• Strong background in SLAM, sensor fusion, or reinforcement learning for robotic applications.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2, Gazebo, or similar simulation and development frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement perception algorithms for multi-modal sensor integration in dynamic environments.
• Develop and optimize path planning and motion control systems for robotic manipulators and mobile platforms.
• Lead experimental validation of robotic systems in simulation and real-world deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research prototypes into production-grade systems.
