Job summary

Miral Experiences is seeking a skilled Electrical or Mechanical Technician to maintain and ensure the safety and reliability of rides and attractions at Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi.

In this full-time role in the Technical Services Rides Department, you will perform daily checks, preventive and corrective maintenance, and support uptime while adhering to manufacturer requirements, safety standards, and reporting to team leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in maintenance field.
• Expert in electrical or mechanical areas.
• Good English speaking/writing abilities.
• Can read operations and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks, start-up, closing procedures, preventive and corrective maintenance for all rides and attractions.
• Ensure rides readiness before park opening hours and throughout operations.
• Maintain safety and reliability of all rides and facilities.
• Respond to downtime and resolve issues promptly.
• Complete preventive maintenance checklists and report to Team Leader.
• Attend training for personal growth and development.

Job description

To ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Miral Experiences Leisure Facilities in the Technical Services Rides Department in relation to the Company Core Process; thus, directly impacting on the maintenance of rides, facilities and attractions. This position provides all of the necessary maintenance required for preserving and improving the physical functionality, safety and appearance of all rides and attractions and facilities in order to ensure Guest satisfaction.

JOB SCOPE:

• Perform daily checks, start-up, closing procedures, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for all rides, attractions.
• Ensure the rides and attractions readiness before time depending on the park operational hours.
• Maintain and ensure that all rides and attractions are safe for all colleagues and guests.
• Respond and resolve call of downtime of the rides and attractions.
• Reduce downtime in the rides and attractions by ensuring that all Preventive Maintenance activities are performed well based on manufacturers’ requirements.
• Responsible in reporting and informing Team Leaders with regard to the issues and concerns that affects the safe operation of all rides and attractions.
• Ensure that all Preventive Maintenance Checklists are completed and submitted to Team Leader on deadline.
• Ensure that all Corrective Maintenance is performed well and eliminate from happening again.
• Attend briefing, training and development program for personal growth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Electrical or Mechanical Diploma.
• 3+ years in maintenance field.
• To be expert in at least one of the following fields:
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical
• Good English speaking and writing abilities.
• Physical fitness.
• Capable of reading and understanding operations and maintenance manuals of all rides and attractions.
• Willing to learn and develop their skills and knowledge by engaging in work either in electrical or mechanical aspects.
• Capable to work in environment where temperatures are adequate to extreme, with some hazardous conditions caused by noise, chemicals, dust, etc.
• With experience in reading drawings, schematic diagrams, hydraulic drawings and diagrams.
• Experience in troubleshooting and solving issues with rides and attractions.

• Degree in any electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical course.
• Technical education/training in vocational training institute in their field of expertise.
• 4+ years’ ride-related experience in a Theme Park or Amusement Industry maintaining rides & attractions.
