You will process salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions, ensure statutory compliance, maintain HRIS data, prepare reports, and respond to inquiries. Regional and UAE experience is preferred, and fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS software.
  • Regional and UAE experience is preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, deductions, and statutory compliance.
  • Recordkeeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports for management and auditing.
  • HRIS Administration: Ensure HRIS data integrity and manage HRIS user support.
  • Employee Data Management: Update new joiners, role changes and leavers on the payroll system.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide timely payroll reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure full and final settlements comply with UAE Labour Law.

The Rewards Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, and providing support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. The primary objective is to manage payroll operations efficiently, maintain data integrity, and contribute to the overall satisfaction of employees.

Key Responsibilities
Financial
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including salary calculations, deductions, and statutory compliance.
  • Reconcile payroll transactions and ensure compliance with Labor Law regulations.
Stakeholder / Customer
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.
Operational
  • Payroll Processing:
    • Calculate salaries, Bonuses, Over Time, and other payments accurately.
    • Process payroll transactions in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to established deadlines.
    • Calculate accurately all the variable transactions such as Child Education Allowance, Airfare allowance, acting allowance, Awards, etc ensuring adherence to established process.
  • Recordkeeping and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of employee payroll information, including additional payment, deductions and benefits.
    • Generate payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
    • Organize and maintain electronic and hard-copy payroll files securely and confidentially.
  • Employee Data Management:
    • Ensure new joiners, role changes and leavers are updated on the payroll system HRIS.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Provide timely and accurate payroll reports to the management.
    • Communication and Employee Services:
      • Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, deductions, and benefits.
      • Prepare and issue relevant letters.
      • Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Administration:
        • Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS.
        • Ensure new joiners, role changes and leavers are updated on HRIS.
        • Provide timely support and assistance for HRIS user queries.
        • Coordinate HRIS system provider for technical issues, testing and process improvements.
        • Ensure that the full and final settlement is processed promptly and in accordance with UAE Labor Law.
        • Assistance in opening of Local bank account and C3Pay card for the new joiners.
        • Manage all employee verifications from banks.
Capability/People
  • Provide support to employees on payroll-related processes and systems.
Dimensions
  • Process payroll for all KM employees.
  • Manage all payroll related transactions.
