Abu Dhabi, UAE
Etihad Airways, the UAE's national carrier executing its ambitious Journey 2030 strategy to double its fleet and expand its global network, is looking for a Flight Analyst to join its Revenue Management team in Abu Dhabi. The role sits at the commercial heart of Etihad's operations, driving revenue through intelligent inventory management, overbooking optimization, and data-driven forecasting across the global network.
You forecast no-show and cancellation trends across assigned routes, optimize overbooking strategies to maximize revenue while balancing guest experience and denied boarding costs, and manage inventory during peak periods using market insights, historical trends, and seasonal demand patterns. You leverage PROS and multiple data sources to identify trends and recommend inventory actions.
You monitor forward booking trends, analyze route performance, and highlight deviations from expected demand patterns. You partner closely with Revenue Management, Market, and Group teams to correct forecast imbalances and unlock revenue opportunities across the network.
You work closely with Network Operations and Airport Managers to proactively manage flights where denied boarding is anticipated. You act as the Revenue Management point of contact for route performance discussions and develop practical solutions balancing operational efficiency, customer experience, and commercial outcomes.
You design and implement inventory management approaches for initiatives including redemption and non-revenue travel, evaluate revenue dilution risks, and produce insightful reporting that demonstrates performance trends and commercial impact.
Revenue Management at a carrier like Etihad is one of the most analytically demanding commercial disciplines in aviation — combining real-time data analysis, predictive modeling, and commercial decision-making at scale across a global network. The PROS system expertise and overbooking strategy dimension make this role particularly valuable on the CV, as these skills transfer directly across airlines and travel technology companies globally. As highlighted in our previous Etihad listings, compensation packages at the airline typically include tax-free salary, housing allowance, flight benefits, and medical coverage, making the total package significantly more attractive than the base figure alone.
