Job summary

Johnson Controls in Abu Dhabi is seeking an operational professional to manage customer orders through the full execution cycle, maintain backlog visibility, and support revenue recognition. You will coordinate with factories, planning, logistics and Sales to keep shipments on track, monitor delivery dates, and escalate issues promptly.

Proficiency in ERP (JDE, SAP), strong Excel and Power BI skills, and excellent stakeholder management are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in order management or logistics.
• Experience using ERP systems such as JDE or SAP.
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills for data-driven decisions.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management across teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets through effective order execution and backlog management.
• Prioritize open orders based on revenue impact, customer commitments, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor delivery dates, open backlog, and at-risk orders to identify delays early.
• Coordinate with factories, planning teams, logistics providers, and freight forwarders to support outbound shipments and delivery performance.
• Track shipment progress, export documentation, and shipment-related issues through to completion.
• Identify and escalation order, credit, and payment issues that may affect shipment release or revenue recognition.
• Partner with Sales Managers, Collections, and other stakeholders to remove blockers and support recovery plans for high-priority orders.
• Maintain accurate revenue, backlog, shipment, and supply chain reports to support business visibility and decision-making.
