Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to drive effective learning across IKEA stores and regions. You will plan, coordinate and monitor learning activities, ensuring SLA compliance and aligning with the co-worker journey and brand.

The role requires 1–3 years in L&D or HR, a related diploma, and strong planning, communication, and LMS skills in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in HR/L&D or related field.
• 1–3 years in Learning & Development, HR, or people support.
• Experience with learning systems (LMS) and tracking completion.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and training needs into annual and monthly learning plans aligned with priorities and SLA.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of learning solutions (classroom, virtual, blended, self-learning).
• Ensure facilitators, buddies, and resources are available to meet service expectations.
• Drive learning engagement through campaigns and social learning initiatives.
• Monitor delivery, completion, and certification via platforms and dashboards.
• Provide learning consultancy to Line Managers, HRBP, SMEs, and Regional L&D.
