Job summary

AlFuttaim in Dubai is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee retail operations and ensure exceptional customer service. This role requires leading a diverse team, managing store performance, and driving operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of retail management experience, knowledge of stock management, and strong leadership skills. The position offers a full-time contract with a competitive salary ranging from AED 12,000 to AED 16,000 monthly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in large-format or multi-department stores.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, SOPs, and customer engagement.
• Proven leadership ability with excellent communication, delegation, and coaching skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective commercial strategies.
• Skilled in handling pressure, multitasking, and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations.
• Familiarity with retail safety and compliance standards in UAE.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a diverse retail team to deliver strong sales performance.
• Oversee daily store operations, including openings and closings.
• Manage and maintain efficient stock control through accurate inventory tracking.
• Conduct team meetings and training sessions to ensure product knowledge.
• Handle escalated customer issues professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor store KPIs and develop action plans to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and local health regulations.
• Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team on store displays.
• Support recruitment and coaching initiatives to develop high-performing teams.
• Implement efficient staffing plans aligned with peak customer demand.
