Job summary

Le Méridien Dubai is seeking a Non-Management team member to ensure staff work together for exceptional guest service, maintain grooming standards, and complete opening and closing duties. You will monitor dining areas, assist with inventories, and support maintenance requests to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, and coaching of employees while upholding safety policies and protecting assets.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff work together as a team to deliver optimum service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect grooming and attire, rectify deficiencies, and manage opening/closing duties.
• Supervise inventory, stock, supplies, and organize storage areas; monitor safety and cleanliness.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and coaching employees.
• Uphold company safety policies, protect assets, and maintain professional communication with guests.
