Job summary

Unity Star Import and Export FZE LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure high service standards, and manage staff performance.

You will supervise front-of-house and coordinate with kitchen, monitor costs, handle customer concerns, and contribute to sales targets while maintaining safety and hygiene compliance. Fluency in English is required; UAE hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience as Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, F&B Supervisor, or similar role.
• Good understanding of restaurant and F&B operations; experience supervising staff.
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and daily sales reporting.
• Understanding of inventory management and cost control.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
• Supervise waiters, waitresses, cashiers, hosts, and other staff.
• Prepare staff schedules and coordinate shifts.
• Train and monitor team members to maintain service standards.
• Ensure professional, friendly, and timely service for customers.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, service, and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient order prep and service.
• Monitor opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to maintain stock levels.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports when required.
• Support management in achieving sales and targets.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.
