Job summary

KEOLIS Group in Dubai is seeking a Resource Planner to create and update the resource schedule for Dubai Metro & Tram, ensuring strict adherence to Resource Planning Procedure and UAE Labour Law.

The role requires coordination with HR, QHSE, and operations to maintain optimal staffing, manage overtime, and respond to contingency scenarios while delivering world-class service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in rail industry.
• 1 year experience in Resource Planning and Workforce Allocation.
• 1 year experience as Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Create and update resource schedule for the Dubai Metro & Tram to ensure optimal service levels.
• Ensure strict implementation of the Resource Planning Procedure.
• Coordinate with HR, QHSE and other departments to maintain compliance and safety.
• Record leaves and attendance in the HRIS and ensure data accuracy.
• Protect information assets and data across electronic and paper records.

Job description

The purpose of the job is to create and update the resource schedule for Dubai Metro & Tram, ensuring that Resource Planning Procedure is strictly implemented along with the HR and QHSE working policies and UAE Labour Law.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic

• Review the resource efficiency of the assigned section ensuring compliance with the Fatigue Management.

Financial

• Update and maintain data in relevant sections to ensure staff resourcing, availability, and overtime are accurately recorded
• Ensure correct overtime submitted, processed and paid to respective staff as per the assigned department whilst coordinating with the HR Department.

Stakeholder / Customer

• Regularly coordinates with the assigned departments.
• Promote a good QHSE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties

Operational

• Create and update resource schedule for the Dubai Metro & Tram ensuring optimum levels of normal and contingency services that best satisfy the different scenarios whilst meeting the target performance requirements for both Operations and Maintenance.
• Ensure strict implementation of the Resource Planning Procedure
• Ensure the services standards can be implemented by the production
• Review and updating of effective and efficient operational roster which meets commercial, operational, and safety requirements
• Ensure correct resource levels are in place to deliver a world class service.
• Monitor and review the effectiveness of the roster arrangements, make necessary adjustments and elevate any issues that require further management review.
• Recommend improvements to provide a productive and efficient service within the whole Dubai Metro & Tram
• Prepare daily/alternate roster arrangements for special events, alternate service patterns and emergency and degraded operations as per operational and maintenance requirement.
• Deal with staff roster issues and make necessary adjustments to provide efficient and effective duty arrangements.
• Ensure integration of the Mandatory Trainings per sections for all shift worker in the resource scheduling.
• Record and update assigned department staff leaves including but not limited to annual leaves, sick leave, Days-in-lieu (DIL) quota and claims in the Human Resource Integrated System.
• Protect information assets and data including both electronic and paper based.

Capability / People

• Attend assigned department’s meeting when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Senior Resource Planner and Resource Planning and Systems Manager.

Dimensions

• Office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
• Extended working hours may be necessary, subject to operational needs and managerial request.
