Job summary

Minor International is seeking an Assistant Room Reservation Manager in Dubai to lead and elevate the Reservations Team, ensuring accurate bookings, training and coaching staff, and maintaining high service standards. You will partner with Revenue Management on inventory control, oversee rate codes, group blocks, and distribution channels such as IBE, GDS, Tour Operators, and Small Luxury Hotels.

Qualifications

• College degree in hotel management or equivalent hospitality qualification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in hotel reservations and rooms divisions.
• Familiarity with PMS & RMS and distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Reservations Team to ensure high service standards.
• Ensure accuracy of bookings and optimize revenue opportunities.
• Monitor team performance and provide ongoing training and feedback.
• Oversee reservations operations including allotments, group blocks and rate codes.
• Communicate guest requests promptly and accurately to relevant teams.
• Drive upselling initiatives and maximize distribution channel utilization (IBE, GDS, Tour Operators, etc.).
