Job summary

Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is looking for a warm Reservations Agent to turn enquiries into memorable stays. You’ll present rooms and local neighbourhood experiences with confidence and hospitality, while upselling packages and promotions.

You’ll maintain accurate reservation records and ensure brand standards. As part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, you’ll collaborate with Front Office, Sales and Revenue teams to manage availability, amendments and enquiries, converting opportunities into confirmed

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations, front office, or similar guest-focused role.
• Excellent communication and sales skills.
• Knowledge of hotel reservations processes; Opera PMS is a plus.

Your Day to Day

As our Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, handling reservations, enquiries, amendments, and special requests with warmth and professionalism. You will confidently showcase our rooms, facilities, dining experiences, and neighbourhood, helping guests find the stay that feels right for them. You will maximise every opportunity by promoting available offers, packages, room types, and upselling opportunities while ensuring every booking is accurate and aligned with hotel and brand standards.

You will work closely with Front Office, Sales, Revenue, and other hotel teams to ensure reservations are communicated clearly and guest preferences are captured and followed through. You will maintain accurate reservation records, monitor room availability, support group and special bookings, and follow up on enquiries to convert opportunities into confirmed business. Your attention to detail will be key in ensuring a smooth journey from the first conversation to the guest’s arrival.

What We Need From You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in reservations, front office, or a similar guest focused role. You should have excellent communication and sales skills, a good understanding of hotel reservations processes, and the confidence to recommend and upsell with genuine enthusiasm. Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple requests are essential. Knowledge of Opera PMS or a similar hotel system is an advantage.
