Job summary

American University of Sharjah is seeking a Research Systems Manager to develop and implement research administration systems in support of research services. You will lead policy development, deploy reporting, and train faculty and staff while ensuring data security.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement policies on research system transaction activities.
Plan, draft, edit, and present analytic products and presentations in a timely manner.
Provide technical support to research administration systems, including custom and automated reporting functions.
Provide data management expertise and work towards automation of standard processes.
Train faculty and staff on research administration system tasks.
Program and develop custom reports, workflow forms, configure electronic routing and approval.
Coordinate and support research systems integration and development as required.
Adhere to the University's information security and confidentiality policies and report breaches or other security risks accordingly.
Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
