Lever, Inc. seeks a Welsh Language Specialist for a freelance AI trainer project based in the United Arab Emirates. You will evaluate, annotate, and improve AI-generated Welsh content to improve grammar, style, and cultural relevance, working remotely with a global team.

The role combines language expertise with emerging AI technologies in a flexible freelance environment, requiring strong linguistic judgment and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Fluent or native-level proficiency in Welsh.
• Experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching, editing, proofreading, content creation, or language research.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate Welsh-language content used for AI training and evaluation.
• Assess AI-generated Welsh outputs for grammatical accuracy, fluency, meaning, style, and natural language usage.
• Identify linguistic, contextual, and cultural issues and provide precise, actionable feedback.
• Analyze and document recurring error patterns to help improve model performance.
• Evaluate whether generated content appropriately reflects Welsh linguistic and cultural context.
• Contribute expert feedback to the development and refinement of prompts, evaluation methodologies, and language guidelines.
• Apply consistent annotation and quality standards across assigned tasks.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams and other language specialists to resolve ambiguous linguistic cases and improve evaluation quality.
