Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Sociology or a closely related field is required.
• Experience teaching at the postsecondary level, online or hybrid.
• Proficiency with learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle).
• Strong written communication for feedback and course documentation.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and update course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments for sociology courses.
• Deliver asynchronous instruction through structured weekly modules with lectures and readings.
• Evaluate student performance using rubrics, discussions, and written work.
• Provide detailed feedback on assignments within 48 hours.
• Maintain academic integrity and address plagiarism or misconduct.
