Job summary

Hired is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Professor to join our remote education team on a full-time basis. You will design and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses for a global platform and evaluate student performance in a remote setting.

You will develop curricula, syllabi, and lab exercises; provide mentorship via virtual office hours; and collaborate with instructional designers to enhance learning outcomes for a diverse, online student body.

Qualifications

PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
At least 3 years of university-level teaching.
Experience with online teaching platforms and LMS tools.
Solid knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and solid mechanics.
Familiarity with CAD software and engineering simulations.
Ability to create engaging virtual learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Design and instruct undergraduate and graduate-level mechanical engineering courses.
Develop and update course syllabi, lecture materials, and lab exercises.
