Job summary

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (LInE) to work remotely on a full-time basis. The role centers on high-availability systems, infrastructure design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and performance.

You will implement SLOs/SLIs, resolve incidents, and automate with scripts and IaC. Ideal candidates have Linux expertise, cloud platform experience, Docker/Kubernetes, and solid observability tooling knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for critical services.
• Develop and enforce SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets for reliability.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurrences.
• Automate operations using scripting and IaC tools.
• Monitor health, analyze metrics, and optimize resources for cost efficiency.
