Job summary

Partner company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability and performance of production systems. You will work hands-on across cloud infrastructure, observability, incident response, capacity planning, and deployment safety.

Join a globally distributed infrastructure team and mentor engineers while designing resilient systems from the start. The role emphasizes ownership, high-performance engineering, and proactive reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in SRE, production engineering, infrastructure, or backend engineering.
• Hands-on experience defining, implementing, and operating against SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Experience responding to high-severity production incidents and improving incident-management practices.
• Strong cloud fundamentals, Kubernetes, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability of critical production systems end to end, including instrumentation and performance.
• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for key services.
• Improve alert quality and incident response processes.
• Lead high-severity incident response and postmortems.
• Design and operate resilient, cost-efficient infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure through code, primarily using Terraform.
• Collaborate with product engineers on production readiness and runbooks.
• Mentor engineers and drive reliability improvements across the org.
