APPEL À TÉMOIGNAGE is seeking a Senior Bridge Load Rating Specialist for a fully remote role. You will assess bridge load-carrying capacity, analyze structural performance, and prepare technical recommendations to support infrastructure safety and asset management.

The role requires a strong background in bridge engineering, familiarity with AASHTO or local standards, and experience with MIDAS Civil, SAP2000 or STAAD.Pro.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or structural engineering.
• Significant bridge engineering experience and load rating expertise.
• Proficiency with MIDAS Civil, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro.

Responsabilidades

• Perform bridge load rating assessments using structural drawings, materials, inspection reports, and traffic data.
• Review bridge models and evaluate load-carrying capacity per design and rating requirements.
• Assess deck, girders, trusses, piers, abutments, and foundations where data are available.
• Analyze structural calculations to identify capacity limits, critical members, and governing load cases.
• Review condition reports and incorporate deterioration and material deficiencies into ratings.
• Evaluate effects of heavy vehicles, permit loads, and traffic changes on capacity.
• Develop recommendations for load posting, investigation, strengthening, rehabilitation, or monitoring.
• Collaborate remotely with engineers, authorities, consultants, and asset managers.
• Prepare load rating reports, calculation packages, and technical reviews.
• Ensure analyses follow bridge evaluation codes and owner standards.
