Bridge Engineer - Roads and Highways hiring opportunity in Dubai, UAE within the Civil Engineering sector for experienced professionals specializing in bridge structures, underpasses, and major infrastructure supervision. This role supports large-scale transportation projects by ensuring structural quality, contractor compliance, RTA approvals, and safe execution of bridge and underpass construction works across Dubai infrastructure developments.

Salary: 14,000 – 19,000 monthly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in managing bridge, underpass, and associated civil works across multiple contract packages.
• Review contractor progress reports, project schedules, method statements, and ITPs for compliance with RTA standards.
• Supervise on-site activities including earthworks, concreting, waterproofing, post-tensioning, asphalt works, and structural construction.
• Monitor bridge elements such as piers, abutments, slabs, retaining walls, wing walls, box culverts, bearings, and expansion joints.
• Verify all materials delivered and stored on-site to ensure compliance with approved submittals and contract requirements.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, NCR closures, and material submittals for technical compliance.
• Inspect precast and prestressed concrete works including bearings installation and waterproofing systems.
• Identify construction deviations and ensure contractors implement corrective actions promptly.
• Coordinate with DEWA, Etisalat, DU, RTA Utilities, and relevant authorities for approvals and clearances.
• Liaise with Dubai Municipality and RTA for standards compliance, permits, and NOC requirements.
• Support issuance of site instructions, NCRs, and technical clarifications.
• Monitor contractor compliance with HSE plans and identify safety risks related to lifting, excavation, scaffolding, and working at height.
• Attend project meetings and prepare reports on technical progress, site constraints, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate daily site diaries, inspection records, material verification sheets, and punch lists.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of proven experience in roads, highways, and bridge construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of RTA standards, Dubai Municipality regulations, and UAE infrastructure codes.
• Previous Dubai project experience is mandatory.
• Previous RTA approval is preferred for immediate project alignment.
• Strong technical knowledge of underpasses, post-tensioning, box culverts, and bridge structural systems.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
