Job summary

Tether Operations is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to lead automated testing for desktop and mobile apps, while owning manual testing. The role focuses on building robust test suites, integrating them into CI/CD, and ensuring reliability across Electron and React Native platforms.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in QA, hands-on Playwright/WebdriverIO, Appium, and experience with GitHub Actions. This is a remote role with international collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
