Tether seeks an Automation QA Engineer to drive automation for desktop and mobile apps, while owning hands-on manual and exploratory testing. You will collaborate with developers and product teams, and help shape testability criteria across platforms.

The role emphasizes building fast, reliable tests, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and leveraging AI tools to improve QA processes. Global remote-friendly environment.

Formación

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual testing
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS/Android devices
• Experience using AI tools in QA and reviewing their outputs

Responsabilidades

About the job

We’re looking for an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for our desktop and mobile applications.

• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.

Mandatory:

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (for example, GitHub Actions).
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output. Testing AI-powered applications is a plus.
