Job summary

Remotedxb seeks a skilled Backend Engineer to migrate and refactor complex systems to Python on AWS, while shaping architecture for scalable, secure APIs and white-label deployments.

You will implement infra automation with Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager and Step Functions, monitor with DataDog, and guide the team on integration across modules. Remote-friendly with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Backend development with Python and refactoring of complex systems.
• Experience with modern architectures, microservices and CQRS patterns.
• Hands-on AWS services for serverless and managed data services.
• Secure RESTful APIs with focus on performance.
• Release management including code reviews and versioning.
• Advanced observability and troubleshooting with DataDog.
• Terraform for infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Migrate and refactor solutions to Python on AWS, guiding architecture decisions.
• Design secure, scalable APIs for white-label deployments.
• Apply infra automation best practices with AWS Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, Step Functions.
• Monitor and diagnose systems with DataDog, implementing preventive and corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and promote module integration across the solution set.
• Document processes and solutions to support product scalability.
