Simera is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate compensation and on-time payments while maintaining confidential employee records. The role requires strong knowledge of payroll procedures, calculations, taxes, and benefits, plus proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and payroll software.

You will work independently in a remote UAE environment, collaborating with HR and Finance to resolve issues, conduct audits, and stay compliant with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and maintaining compensation records.
• Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets and payroll software.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits.
• Ability to maintain confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time according to schedules.
• Review time records, hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions.
• Calculate wages, taxes, deductions, and benefits.
• Maintain payroll records and process new hires/terminations.
• Ensure payroll data is entered correctly in systems.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance on payroll issues.
• Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation.
• Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance.
