Anantara Group's Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara in Abu Dhabi seeks an Accounting Officer to manage revenue reporting, daily income auditing and cash handling. The role supports monthly accounts, conducts reconciliations, and maintains strict internal controls in line with hotel policies.

The successful candidate will audit journals, supervise cash procedures, and assist related finance sections while ensuring confidentiality and integrity of financial data on Sir Bani Yas Island.

Qualifications

• Experience with revenue reporting and daily income auditing.
• Proficiency in cash handling and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with SUN financial system and journal postings.
• Willing to work and reside on Sir Bani Yas Island and support multiple finance sections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily revenue journals and distribute to Management.
• Assist monthly accounts process and posting of journals.
• Reconcile Banquet Event Short List daily for revenue accuracy.
• Review No-Show reports and chargeables for No-Shows.
• Prepare extension-wise telephone reports for relevant departments.
• Validate and upload revenue journals into SUN and balance records.
• Prepare municipality fee reconciliations and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain cash & bank-related records and petty cash as needed.
• Collaborate with departments and support the Finance team.
