HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a remote contract role to design, maintain, and optimize cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP and their core services.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Ability to design and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure using cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi).
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM, network policies, and compliance standards.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Work with development teams to optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.
