Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology seeks an AWS Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for high-traffic applications. The role focuses on optimizing AWS services for performance, cost, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and incident response. This is a remote contract position offering competitive hourly pay and opportunities to work with a global technology

Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy for automated deployments.
• Monitor system performance using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to AWS services, networking, and security configurations.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for team knowledge sharing and compliance.
