Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Industrial Robotics Manager to lead the strategy, engineering, and lifecycle management of industrial robotic systems. The role requires hands-on robotics expertise and strong project leadership across design, integration, commissioning, and production ramp-up.

The ideal candidate will drive optimization, safety, and performance improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy scalable robotic solutions across manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industrial robotics and automated manufacturing systems.
• Experience managing robotics projects from concept through commissioning and optimization.
• Hands-on robot programming and motion control.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, safety systems, sensors, and industrial communication networks.
• Experience integrating robotics with MES, ERP, SCADA, and factory automation systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robotics strategies aligned with manufacturing and business objectives.
• Identify automation opportunities across production, assembly, material handling, inspection, packaging, welding, and logistics processes.
• Lead robotics feasibility studies, automation assessments, business cases, pilots, and implementation programs.
• Coordinate robot programming, motion planning, sequencing, tooling, fixtures, sensors, and interfaces with PLCs/HMIs.
• Manage robotics projects from concept, design, simulation, procurement through installation, commissioning, and ramp-up.
• Establish standards for robot programming, controls, electrical interfaces, and documentation.
