Job summary

Wood is recruiting for a Rotational Support / Remote Engineer - Instrument & Control to join its UAE business unit in Sharjah. This full-time role provides day-to-day I&C engineering support for safe and reliable operations, working with the site team to implement long-term solutions and mitigate risk.

The candidate will monitor KPIs, support MoCs/EQs, and help optimize production while coaching client engineers and contributing to technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an I&C engineer in operations support.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and risk mitigation.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day I&C engineering support for site operations.
• Collaborate with site teams to resolve issues and reduce risk.
• Define operating envelopes and monitor instrument/control health.
• Support management of change (MoCs) and engineering queries (EQs).
• Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities to optimize production.
• Contribute to site procedures and document technical input.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
