Job summary

Wood in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer – Operations and Maintenance to provide day-to-day I&C engineering support for safe, reliable, and compliant operations. The role collaborates with the site team to drive long-term solutions and reduce risks for production growth.

You will report to the Operations Engineering Manager and contribute to MoCs, EQs, SOPs, and coaching of client engineers while working in a diverse, global organization with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional accreditation – Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer.
• Significant experience in an Operations I&C Engineering support role.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day I&C engineering support to enable safe, reliable operations.
• Work with site teams to resolve issues and implement timely solutions.
• Ensure asset I&C risks are understood and actions are taken within agreed timeframes.
• Define operating envelopes and monitor health of I&C equipment.
• Support MoCs, EQs, and update Site Operations Procedures as needed.
• Coach client engineers and contribute to discipline Technical Documentation.
