Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer – Operations and Maintenance to support site operations in Sharjah, UAE, addressing day-to-day I&C queries and ensuring safe, reliable and compliant performance with the site team.

The role focuses on mentoring site engineers, reviewing MoCs/EQs, monitoring KPI health, and driving production opportunities while progressing long-term engineering solutions for asset integrity and decarbonisation efforts.

Qualifications

Significant experience in an Operations I&C Engineering support role.
Sound knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards and regulations.
Strong stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

Performs day to day I&C Engineering support to deliver immediate operations support.
Ensures asset I&C Engineering risks are understood and actions are taken to reduce risk.
Defines I&C operating envelopes and monitors health of equipment.
Monitors I&C KPIs and initiates corrective actions.
Provides input to MoCs and EQs and coaching to Client engineers.
Generates, revises, reviews technical documentation.
