Job summary

Coinbase in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the finance for the Tokenized Equities product. You will own the accounting and reporting model from the ground up, including policy, regulatory reporting, controls, GL operations, and finance systems, coordinating with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and external auditors.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with regulated markets (capital markets, broker-dealer, exchange, or digital assets).
• Direct experience with a financial regulator is preferred.
• Ability to apply accounting rules to new or complex products.
• Experience building new finance processes for a new product or regulatory regime.
• Strong controls mindset and ability to work in fast-moving environments.
• Clear communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with FSRA regulatory framework.

Responsibilities

• Build the accounting model for token issuance, asset tracking, and close.
• Own regulatory compliance and FSRA reporting.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Treasury, FP&A, and Finance Data.
• Approve funds flow, posting rules, and ledger structure before launch.
• Lead accounting analyses for new structures under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Build issuer entity reporting framework including IFRS financials and audits.
• Establish a regulated launch control environment with audit trails and data integrity.
• Identify risks with owners and action plans.
