Job summary

Coinbase is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead the finance for the Tokenized Equities product in Abu Dhabi. You will own the accounting and reporting model from the ground up—covering policy, regulatory and legal entity reporting, controls, GL operations, and finance systems—coordinating with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and controllership, as well as external auditors and regulators.

You will build a robust control environment for a regulated launch, lead accounting analysis for US GAAP and IFRS

Qualifications

• Accounting is required and CPA/CA strongly preferred.
• Experience in regulated financial environments (capital markets, broker-dealer, exchange, custody, or digital assets).
• Experience dealing with a financial regulator (inquiries, exams, filings).
• Ability to apply accounting rules to new or complex products.
• Experience building new finance processes for a new product or regulatory regime.

Responsibilities

• Build the accounting model for token issuance, redemption, asset tracking, intercompany flows, and close process.
• Own FSRA regulatory compliance and reporting; liaise with regulator and maintain robust reporting processes.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Treasury, FP&A, and Finance Data.
• Approve flow of funds, posting rules, ledger structure, reconciliations, and reporting before launch.
• Lead accounting analysis for US GAAP and IFRS for new structures (dividends, splits, balance sheet treatment).
• Develop reporting framework for issuer entity, including IFRS financials, local filings, and external audit support.
• Set up audit trails and data integrity across on-chain/off-chain systems.
• Identify risks with owners and action plans for each.
