Job summary

Coinbase is hiring an Accounting Manager to own the finance model for the Tokenized Equities product issued out of ADGM. You will build from the ground up the accounting and reporting framework, including policy, regulatory reporting to FSRA, controls, GL operations, and finance systems, coordinating with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and auditors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or similar strongly preferred.
• Experience in regulated financial environments (capital markets, broker-dealer, exchange, custody, or digital assets).
• Experience working directly with a financial regulator — inquiries, exams, or filings.
• Ability to apply accounting rules to new or complex products.
• Experience building new finance processes for a new product, entity, or regulatory regime.
• Strong controls mindset and the ability to shape how systems are built before launch.
• Clear communication in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Familiarity with the FSRA regulatory framework and rulebook.

Responsibilities

• Build accounting model for token issuance/redemption, asset tracking, close process.
• Own FSRA regulatory compliance and reporting; liaise with regulator; ensure robust reporting.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Treasury, FP&A, and Finance Data; ensure accurate flows.
• Approve funds flow, posting rules, ledger setup, reconciliations, and reporting before launch.
• Lead accounting analysis for new structures under US GAAP and IFRS, incl. dividends, splits, balance sheet treatment.
• Build reporting framework for issuer entity, including IFRS audits, local filings, audit support.
• Set up control environment for regulated launch — audit trails, books and records, data integrity.
• Identify accounting, controls, and reporting risks early and ensure each has a clear owner and plan.
